THE TRIPLE C | HYPER CARBONIA BLACK GOLD MANIA
Since our last trip to the UK we have had a lot of designing going on. We always imagine the proces as going through the Norwegian Lærdal tunnel, entering it with the expectation that at the end something beautiful will show itself. But during the ride there are several turning moments, just like in the tunnel, where you evaluate and can turn away from the direction of the design. These are very important moments because if we feel the design direction is not the right one we have to step away from it and not proceed. Because if we do then we eventually end up with a design that is a compromise. We never want to compromise!

The Lærdal tunnel also has 3 ‘caves’, places where you can park, step aside and wonder about the incredible engineering of this marvel. As with each and every design process we go through, designing our ‘Triple C’ inevitably presents us with evaluation moments like that. We park it for a while, step aside, do other things and after a while we take a look again. If we are still amazed at the direction we are heading, then we proceed. If there is still doubt and we’re not convinced about what we see, then we take a turn to reconsider and revise our course!

Regarding the Triple C, we have taken several turns now and parked it for two times. We are very excited about the design and the direction we our going. We still have probably one ‘cave’ moment ahead of us but for now we feel we have entered the final stages of the proces . What do you think?
